He was known for calming the crew, breaking up fights, accompanying the watch on their rounds, and even rescuing a sailor who fell overboard. The crew made him his own sailor’s cap and a specially designed helmet. Bamse also received an official service record and later several honours for his bravery. The figurine is delivered in a beautifully illustrated metal box, which also includes a small leaflet with information about Bamse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe Bamse tin soldier pairs perfectly with the Norwegian WWII sailor figurine. We have also created an illustrated card that can be used as a backdrop for the figures.
