MILORG Resistance Fighter toy soldier in 54 mm scale. This figure wears the Selbu stockings and a knitted red har which was symbols of a free Norway and symbols of resistance during the German occupation in 1940-45. He wears a resistance movement armlet and is armed with a Sten Gun and a Nagant holstered pistol. MILORG (military organization) was the main Norwegian resistance movement during World War 2. Resistance work included intelligence gathering, sabotage, supply-missions, raids, espionage, transport of goods imported to the country, release of Norwegian prisoners and escort for citizens fleeing the border to neutral Sweden.
