A very limited and handmade play set of "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" based up on the famous fairytale by the Danish author H. C. Andersen. Included in the nice tin box are: the handpainted one-legged Tin Soldier in metal, the paper ballerina with a real metal medallion around her neck in a blue ribbon, the paper boat - as a curiousity folded by a copy of a newspaper from Copenhagen in 1838 - which is the same town and year H. C. Andersen wrote the fairytale. ALSO the whole fairytale itself is included in a small folder - but with small text, so you'll need your glasses :-). This collectors set is made very true in regards to the original Steadfast fairytale text. The Tin Soldier even have a correct Danish uniform for that time period.
