1:30 scale handmade Toy Soldier of a Norwegian Special Operations Executive agent from the British raid on Maaloey in 1941. He wears the standard British Commando uniform, camo helmet and has sergeant stripes and the Norwegian flag on his shoulder. He carries a Thompson submachine gun and has a Fairbairn Sykes commando knife in his belt.
During the Maaloey raid (Operation Archery) a force of 576 men participated, of which 51 were officers. Among these was 15 Norwegian commando soldiers. The attack was militarily successful.
I have chosen to call the English-language version of the Rubin Langmo figure "Special Operations Executive" - as Langmo is presumably little known abroad.
