Handmade 1:30 scale tin soldier of the shield‑maiden Lagertha.
According to legend, Lagertha was a Norwegian shield‑maiden and the wife of the legendary Viking Ragnar Lodbrok. In Norse literature, shield‑maidens are described as women who fought alongside men, equal in both courage and skill. This tin soldier is inspired by her portrayal in the Vikings series.
The figurine comes in a beautifully illustrated metal box, which also includes a small leaflet with information about Lagertha and the shield‑maidens of the Viking Age. An illustrated Lagertha card is also available and can be used as a backdrop for the tin soldier. The card is not included, but can be purchased separately.
