German Gebirgsjäger

Handmade 1:30 scale toy soldier of a German Gebirgsjäger from the Battle of Narvik in 1940. Gebirgsjägers fought during the attack on Norway in 1940, and trained during the occupation period in the Norwegian mountains. An entire Gebirgsjäger corps was set up in Norway, and which was completed in 1941. The Gebirgsjäger officer Eduard Dietl participated as major general and regimental commander. During the campaign against Norway, he was central to the battles for Narvik in 1940.
